Ahaha! The last time I tried doing this, the premise was basically that Bucky ended up a vampire because the Russians tried using a vampire-based serum as a alternative to the original super soldier formula. Then later, during the Cold War, Nat got a less potent version of the same because the original ended up too difficult to control.

SO WHAT I'M SAYING IS.

I'm open to playing with this sort of thing.
